My Story
driven by the belief that technology can serve people
As a big optimist about the power of technology to transform the world for the better, I’ve spent the last 15+ years creating innovative companies and communities in the fields of fintech, blockchain, and startup acceleration.
My entrepreneurship started when I was 16. After studying mechanical engineering in Ljubljana, my understanding of global business deepened. After additional studies in Shanghai, Munich, and the US, each stop shaping how I see markets, culture, and the power of ecosystems, I launched ABC Startup Accelerator that fueled the growth of over 150 startups worldwide.
Mining Bitcoin brought me to what will eventually become the Web3 industry. One thing became obvious very quickly - we were earning digital assets without any real way to use them. That problem stuck with me and ultimately pushed me to take the next step: moving from mining into building payment solutions.
In the beginning, the goal was simple - make crypto spendable. We focused on connecting wallets to cards, POS terminals, and real-world merchants, giving people the ability to use their assets rather than just hold them. But as we worked with more users, I realised it wasn’t only about enabling transactions. It was about creating an experience that matched what people already knew and trusted, while offering something the old system could never deliver: independence.
We, crypto users, wanted payments to be instant, simple, and accepted everywhere. At the same time, we wanted full control over our assets, freedom from intermediaries, and true ownership. Meeting those expectations meant going further than just building wallets. We began developing self-custodial payment infrastructure, the full rails for a decentralized network where users, not institutions, hold the keys.
The hardest challenge has been making all of this feel as familiar and seamless as the systems people already use. That remains the mission: not to replace payments entirely, but to rebuild them - so money is controlled by the user, on rails that are better, safer, and more inclusive.

I founded NAKA to build financial tools for the future that give people more freedom, ownership, and inclusion, no matter where they are.
We’re creating new infrastructure for everyday financial interactions - putting businesses in control of the payment rails, the flow of value, and the customer experience.
What Drives Me
I believe in technology that empowers. Whether it’s giving underbanked communities access to digital finance, helping a new founder find their footing, or building platforms that reward creators directly, I’m here for all of it. My work is guided by one simple idea: create with purpose.
